I’ve now tried warehousing in Miami. As you all know, this is what I do in my life. I go to places, and I try different types of work. Warehousing in Miami had been on my list for a while. It was mostly about Miami, but I also wanted to try warehousing. I had heard good things from other people living similar lives.
Anyways. 6 months past and now I’m on my way again. I’m going to do the same thing that I do every time I’ve stopped working somewhere. Most of you probably knows what this is about, but I’ll tell you anyways if there are new readers of there.
So, every time I finish a job, I write about the co-workers I’ve met there. Sometimes, I also post something about the actual work and I will definitely do that about warehousing in Miami. The fact of the matter is that this has been one of the jobs that I’ve enjoyed the most for the last couple of years. Really great place. Today, however, I’m going to focus on the colleagues. Here are the people that made the biggest impression on me, when I was working with warehousing in Miami.
Steven, 51
Steven was my boss, so this might feel a little kiss-assy. Anyways, he was the one person at the place that had been working in warehousing, for the company in Miami, for the longest time. He knew his way around the place. I was right away that he was a respected person. I think his introduction of me to the rest of the group really helped me make friends. And I really did!
Cassandra, 30
Same age, similar interests and almost exactly the same laughter. Right when I met Cassandra I knew that this would turn out to a good friendship. It did and I’m so grateful for that. Even though I will not me working in warehousing nor in Miami onwards, I love that I met her. I will definitely drive down to see her soon again. What a person, what a crew.
James, 45
James and I did not get along super well during the first couple of weeks. We worked very closely together and I think that that might have contributed. I mean, I didn’t know anything about warehousing or Miami. That was pretty much his whole life, so we didn’t really have a lot to talk about. Well, until we found out our mutual interest for YouTube cooking shows. Oh my God, did we inspire each other to make wonderful dishes. Yep, we did.
That’s it for today, folks. Talk to you soon again!
